Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Bring Subject Matter Expertise: This person will leverage broad and deep marketing knowledge to lead complex projects in the evolving Corporate & Middle Market space
  • Define and Develop Strategic Initiatives: This person will lead E2E initiatives to deliver insights and data driven strategies designed to meet customer needs while profitably growing revenue
  • Demonstrate Strong GTM Expertise: Applies a fundamental understanding of the end to end go to market process including planning, positioning, messaging launch execution, and post launch optimization to drive successful outcomes
  • Build Strong Relationships: Collaborating closely with marketing, product, and analytics to identify and prioritize areas of opportunity is critical
  • Wear Many Different Hats: This person should be motivated by driving a complex strategy forward from idea through to big impact
  • Lead with an Enterprise Mindset: Focus on creating value in high priority, strategic territories grounded in shareholder, customer, and Blue Box values

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing or strategy experience in high-visibility, cross-functional roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to synthesize complex information into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Exceptional communicator across written, verbal, and visual formats, skilled at crafting compelling narratives for senior audiences and influencing cross-functional teams and partners
  • Deep customer-first mindset and ability to translate insights into impactful strategy and execution
  • Thrives in a project-based environment with a flexible working model, demonstrating adaptability, enthusiasm, and a collaborative mindset
  • Inspiring colleague who motivates and guides team members through complexity, transformation, and change
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and project-management discipline — able to effectively manage multiple high-priority initiatives
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for innovation and offerings that empower and support small businesses
  • Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
