Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the company’s existing email marketing program, including batch and blast campaigns, triggered communications, and automated journeys, with a focus on continuous performance optimization.
  • Identify, develop, launch, and refine customer segmentation strategies and lifecycle communication journeys to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Lead the implementation and growth of SMS acquisition and marketing strategies, ensuring strong customer adoption and measurable performance results.
  • Own and maintain the Email Marketing Calendar, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Track and manage email and SMS campaign workflows, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics, including open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, and revenue contribution, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor email deliverability and list health metrics, proactively minimizing unsubscribes and optimizing customer retention.
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM and applicable SMS marketing regulations and industry best practices.
  • Partner closely with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize customer and sales data flows into the ESP.
  • Stay current on email and SMS marketing trends, tools, technologies, and emerging best practices to continually enhance program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in email marketing, preferably within both consumer retail and business-to-business (wholesale) environments.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major email service provider (ESP) with automation capabilities, such as Bloomreach, Klaviyo, Emarsys, or Listrak.
  • Prior experience launching or scaling an SMS marketing program is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • Basic HTML knowledge preferred.
