Job Summary

Build and own a high-impact, enterprise SEO program that drives organic growth across product, marketing, and technical teams through rigorous audits, strategy, and cross-functional execution.

  • SEO Strategy & Governance: Set direction, evangelize best practices, and oversee site improvements that boost search visibility.
  • Site Performance & Architecture: Audit and optimize technical factors, content, and signals across architectures, URLs, images, and news/video/AI-enabled content.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Coordinate with Product, Dev, Design, and Content to transform SEO ideas into measurable traffic gains.

Job Description

Own and advance enterprise-level SEO strategy, governance, and cross-functional execution to drive sustainable organic growth and visibility.

  • Responsibilities: Serve as one of our in-house, enterprise-level, product-led SEO experts.
  • Responsibilities: Develop SEO growth strategies, evangelize SEO importance, provide site improvement recommendations, and oversee implementation.
  • Responsibilities: Continually audit site and performance for SEO related improvements.
  • Responsibilities: Track and report against KPIs demonstrating SEO effectiveness.
  • Responsibilities: Work closely with product management, developers, marketing and content to drive traffic initiatives.
  • Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in person University or College
  • Requirements: 7+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization roles
  • Requirements: Advanced understanding and knowledge of SEO Best Practices and the latest search engine algorithm updates, including image, video, and news search
  • Requirements: Solid understanding of Google’s content and quality guidelines, including E-E-A-T and structured content best practices
  • Requirements: Familiarity with AEO and its relationship to modern SEO, including AI-generated content
  • Requirements: Proven ability to develop strategies and manage projects to drive organic search traffic
  • Requirements: Able to work cross-functionally with Product, Development, Design and other teams
  • Requirements: Must be data driven with ability to identify actionable insights from large datasets and create reports
  • Requirements: Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMRUSH, Conductor, BrightEdge, Ahrefs)
  • Requirements: Able to stay ahead of industry trends and align projects with developments
  • Nice to have: Experience managing SEO for large-scale consumer-facing marketplace websites with 10–25 million pages indexed
  • Nice to have: Product/project management, software development and analytics experience
  • Nice to have: Experience with log analysis tools such as Botify or DeepCrawl
  • Nice to have: Experience with AI tools and integrating AI into SEO programs
