Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This role will support Columbus Water & Power's (CWP) communications team by creating engaging content across digital and print platforms.
  • This position will be responsible for writing and developing internal stories that highlight our employees and the critical work they do, contributing to channels such as the employee newsletter, all department-wide emails and the intranet.
  • This position will also assist in crafting external communications, including social media content, press releases, and leadership talking points.
  • At times, this position will support community outreach efforts, educating the public on CWP's services and programs.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Requirements

  • exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills are essential in this role.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe InDesign.

Preferred

  • Background in journalism preferred but not required, exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills are essential in this role.
