Own DEVELON’s equipment messaging by turning technical specs into customer-facing narratives, and package launch content, dealer communications, and event materials into repeatable assets that drive adoption.

  • Messaging architecture: Develop and maintain value propositions and customer-relevant feature narratives across the equipment portfolio.
  • Launch content: Lead new equipment introductions, campaign narratives, dealer communications, and customer-facing feature content.
  • Content readiness: Produce dealer-ready content and post-event follow-ups, plus battle cards and comparison guides to support selling.

Job Description

Own DEVELON’s product messaging for equipment, turning specs into dealer- and customer-facing narratives and equipping the network with launch content, battle cards, and event materials to drive adoption.

  • Messaging architecture: Develop and maintain value propositions and customer-relevant feature narratives across the equipment portfolio.
  • Launch content creation: Lead content development for new equipment introductions including campaign narratives, announcement copy, dealer communications, and customer-facing feature content.
  • Content packages: Develop launch content packages that agency partners can execute from.
  • Timeline-aligned delivery: Write and deliver launch assets on schedule in alignment with campaign timelines.
  • Dealer-ready content: Produce dealer-ready content that equips the DEVELON network to present, demonstrate, and sell equipment confidently.
  • Competitive tools: Develop competitive battle cards, product comparison guides, and objection-handling tools.
  • Dealer communications: Write dealer-facing announcements and program communications in clear, actionable language.
  • Trade show content: Develop messaging and written content for trade shows, field events, and regional activations.
  • Event materials: Write booth copy, on-site materials, and attendee communications; provide agencies with approved messaging to execute against.
  • Post-event follow-up: Produce post-event content and follow-up communications for dealer and customer audiences.
  • Requirements and work style: 2 to 4 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a closely related marketing role; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; ability to translate technical information into customer-facing messaging; comfortable with lean teams and external agencies; proficiency with AI-assisted content tools.
  • Content proficiency: Demonstrated ability to write clear, audience-appropriate marketing content across formats (web, email, print, presentations).
  • Multi-deliverable management: Strong ability to manage multiple content deliverables simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Technical translation: Ability to translate technical or product information into persuasive customer-facing messaging.
  • AI-assisted workflow: Working knowledge of integrating AI tools into content workflows.
  • Cross-channel consistency: Maintain accuracy and consistency across channels with a product messaging library.
  • Industry familiarity: Background or familiarity with construction equipment, heavy machinery, or related industrial categories (nice-to-have).
