Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Customer advocacy: Build a program spanning case studies, testimonials, video stories, and references. Keep a searchable reference pipeline so Sales always has the right proof point for the right deal. Nurture customer champions for speaking slots, advisory boards, and peer communities.
  • Lifecycle and expansion: Design campaigns that drive onboarding, adoption, and expansion. Work with Customer Success to spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities and convert them. Report on advocacy participation, expansion influence, and retention.
  • Partner marketing: Own joint marketing with technology and channel partners, from co-branded campaigns to joint content and events. Build partner-facing messaging and enablement that makes it easy for partners to sell with us. Track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
  • Events and community: Support customer and partner presence at industry events and user conferences. Connect customers with each other through user groups, roundtables, and peer exchanges. Turn event moments into recaps, social proof, and follow-up campaigns.
  • Cross-functional work: Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing to align programs to revenue goals. Collaborate with PMM peers on messaging, positioning, and launch planning. Feed customer and partner insights back into product strategy.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7+ years in customer marketing, partner marketing, or product marketing
  • Proven experience building advocacy or reference programs and turning customer outcomes into compelling stories
  • Experience running co-marketing programs with technology or channel partners
  • Strong project management across multiple programs and stakeholders
  • Excellent writing and storytelling, with an instinct for what makes customers say yes
  • Comfortable connecting program activity to pipeline and revenue
  • Industrial tech, AI, manufacturing, or B2B SaaS experience a plus

Nice to Have

  • Customer advisory boards, user communities, or event programming
  • Familiarity with review platforms (G2, Gartner Peer Insights, TrustRadius)
  • Experience marketing alongside large technology alliances or OEM partnerships
