Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical and commercial expert for Balluff's Position Sensor portfolio, including magnetostrictive, magnetic field, and magnetically encoded sensor technologies.
  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies that drive portfolio growth and market penetration.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and application assessments to identify opportunities and support business decisions.
  • Gather customer and market feedback to influence product roadmaps and future development.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify opportunities, remove barriers to adoption, and support strategic customer initiatives.
  • Plan and support product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement activities.
  • Develop product literature, application guides, customer success stories, videos, presentations, and training materials.
  • Deliver product, application, and market training for internal sales teams and channel partners.
  • Maintain customer opportunities, activities, and pipeline information within SAP C4C CRM.
  • Build collaborative relationships with sales, marketing, engineering, product management, and global teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
  • 5+ years of product marketing, technical marketing, sales, or application engineering experience within industrial automation.
  • Experience with industrial sensor technologies; experience with position sensing technologies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of factory automation applications and customer solutions.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working collaboratively across sales, marketing, engineering, and global teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; SAP C4C experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.
