Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own VIA's public safety footprint and content lifecycle: Act as the comprehensive marketing point person for the public safety vertical. You will build and execute the overarching marketing strategy that keeps VIA compelling and competitive across both physical and digital touchpoints
  • Produce high-impact sector content: Collaborate with marketing resources (media team, PR firm, etc.) to create the full suite of marketing materials that define our presence, including product 2-pagers, value proposition decks, and in-depth case studies. Serve as the creative force and project manager for specialized videos
  • Drive digital storytelling: Design and execute multi-channel promotional campaigns across social media, newsletters, and targeted digital programs. You will draft compelling social copy, launch ads, and manage partner/compliance badges to keep our message accurate and fresh
  • Lead event strategy and end-to-end execution: Manage the full marketing lifecycle for VIA's participation in major public safety conferences and industry events (such as the semi-annual ACA conference). Own everything from pre-event pipeline campaigns and booth strategy to on-site real-time social media coverage and post-event lead reporting
  • Conduct market intelligence and on-the-ground audits, serving as the marketing subject matter expert: Serve as the primary eyes and ears on the event floor, auditing competitor positioning, tracking emerging sector trends, and delivering actionable strategic insights back to the core product and corporate marketing teams
  • Manage logistics and assets with precision: Source, order, and manage all sector-specific marketing materials, digital assets, website updates, and physical booth inventory (from banner stands to organization-specific swag like custom challenge coins) ensuring flawless timeline management

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years in product marketing, field marketing, or a hybrid event and content creation role, ideally within B2B SaaS, tech, or the public sector
  • Experience marketing to government, law enforcement, or corrections audiences is a major plus
  • Content and copywriting versatility: A strong portfolio of clean, compelling work across short-form formats (social copy, ad hooks, event taglines) and structured, data-driven long-form formats (case studies, whitepapers, 2-pagers)
  • Creative campaign execution: Proven experience planning multi-channel marketing campaigns, coordinating video asset production, and managing digital channels to nurture pipeline
  • Field and operational fluency: Exceptional project management skills and complete comfort with the fast-moving realities of event execution, including travel, booth setup, live content capture, and managing back-office deliverables simultaneously
  • Adaptability and ownership: A self-starter mentality with a genuine love for switching modes depending on what the business demands from high-level content strategy to hands-on logistical execution in the same week

Preferred

  • Self-motivated and passionate about leaving everything they touch better than how they found it
  • Firm believers that people should love what they do and are eager to build a culture that enables them to do their best work
  • Creative problem solvers who respectfully challenge the status quo in the pursuit of excellence

Benefits

  • Health: A fully funded, top-tier health benefits plan, including vision and dental coverage, fully covered from day one, for your whole family
  • Family Support: Up to 24 weeks paid parental leave, a 4-week paid ramp-back program, and a $10K family forming benefit (covering fertility treatments, adoption, and surrogacy)
  • Time off: Flexible Vacation Policy with no set annual limit or accrual period, Summer Fridays, and an extended holiday period in December
  • Remote work: Ability to enjoy the best of both worlds with flexibility to work from home as needed, as well as access to four well-located offices, designed for collaboration and stocked with everything you could need
  • Opportunities to work remotely from eligible locations for up to 2 months per year
  • Growth: Individualized growth opportunities, including internal and external mentorship panels, custom goals and feedback sessions, and/or access to learning and development programs
  • A dedicated wellness advisor to help you navigate the programs and opportunities available
  • Transit: Benefits to support commuting costs
  • Connection: In-person events to foster team bonding and collaboration across different teams
