Job Summary

Own the full paid media build for a DTC ecommerce brand, from structuring and launching Google and Meta ad accounts to testing creative, managing budgets and ROAS, ensuring accurate tracking, and reporting clear next steps to leadership.

  • Structure and manage Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts end-to-end.
  • Own budgeting, bidding, tracking, and reporting with clear recommendations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build out and structure Google Ads accounts (Search, Shopping/Performance Max, and potentially YouTube) from the ground up
  • Build out and structure Meta Ads accounts (Facebook/Instagram) including creative testing frameworks and audience strategy
  • Set and manage budgets, bids, and targeting to hit target ROAS/CAC, scaling spend as performance proves out
  • Ensure tracking is set up correctly — conversion tracking, pixel/CAPI implementation, UTM structure — and troubleshoot when numbers look off
  • Coordinate with our product catalog (Google Merchant Center feed, product data) to keep Shopping campaigns clean and performant
  • Run creative and audience tests, and report back on what's working with clear recommendations for next spend
  • Report regularly to leadership on account performance, spend efficiency, and scaling opportunities — with a clear point of view on what to do next
  • Stay ahead of platform changes (Meta and Google both shift algorithms and ad formats often) and adjust strategy accordingly

Requirements

  • 2+ years hands-on managing Google Ads and Meta Ads for an ecommerce or DTC brand — you should be able to speak to specific accounts you've built or scaled, with real numbers
  • Experience managing real ad spend and being accountable for ROAS/CAC, not just campaign setup
  • Comfortable working independently — this is a build-it-yourself role, not an execute-the-existing-playbook role
  • Strong analytical instincts: you can look at account data and diagnose whether the problem is targeting, creative, bidding, or tracking
  • Clear, concise reporting — you can tell leadership what happened and what to do about it in a few sentences, not a 40-tab spreadsheet
  • U.S.-based, able to work U.S. business hours

Preferred

  • Experience in health, fitness, or wellness ecommerce
  • Experience with Shopify and Google Merchant Center feed management
  • Experience with a large or complex product catalog (thousands of SKUs)
  • Comfortable using AI tools (Claude or similar) to speed up reporting, creative briefs, or analysis
  • Basic creative production skills (photo/video editing, ad copywriting) — you don't need to be a designer, but being able to brief or mock up creative helps

Benefits

  • Remote, flexible, no corporate bureaucracy
  • Room to grow into a larger role (and larger budget) as the channel proves out
  • Real ownership over building a channel from scratch — not inheriting someone else's mess
  • Direct access to leadership — no layers between you and decisions getting made
