Job Summary

Own and optimize media campaigns end-to-end, aligning planning, buying, and reporting with vendor relationships and data-driven pacing across online and offline channels.

  • Operate end-to-end media activation: planning, execution, pacing, and performance reporting across digital, TV, radio, and OOH.
  • Lead vendor management and RFP processes: define partner sets, negotiate value, and manage contracts to maximize campaign impact.
  • Coordinate cross-team execution and governance, ensuring accurate trafficking, data validation, and timely collaboration between media, creative, and analytics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversees tactical planning, execution and reporting of campaigns.
  • Utilizes knowledge of the media marketplace and channels to brainstorm activations and vendors for media campaigns.
  • Maintain base-level knowledge of buying for online and offline media channels: Digital (Banners, Audio, Video) Search, Social, TV, Radio, OOH, Print.
  • Owns vendor communications and developing relationships with clients.
  • Manages RFP process: developing partner consideration sets, putting together RFPs, and managing conversations & RFP development with partners.
  • Collaborates on the buying of media, vendor contracts, budget management by platform, billing/invoicing for campaigns.
  • Leads knowledge of media buying tools (Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM, MOAT/IAS, GCM, Datorama, Tableau).
  • Applies negotiation principles to ensure discounts and added value.
  • Acts as gatekeeper and reviewer for Assistant’s work; ensures smooth campaign launch & execution.
  • Maintains deep understanding of Digital media trafficking process; conducts weekly pacing and monitoring of campaign performance.
  • Supports Supervisor/Director in development of media approach; fosters cross-agency collaboration and integration of media + creative timelines.
  • Validates data accuracy for reporting; develops media POVs for clients; encourages thinking outside the box; stays updated on marketplace offerings.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a media investment/buying role across online and/or offline channels, including campaign execution and management (Digital - Display, Audio, Video), Search, Social, and Traditional (TV, Radio, OOH, Print).
  • Proficiency with media tools and platforms such as Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM, MOAT/IAS, Tableau
  • Strong project and campaign management skills, including RFP development, vendor negotiations, trafficking, and pacing/reporting.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills—able to manage vendor relationships, support internal teams, and clearly articulate media strategies.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.
  • This role requires proximity to New York City. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of onsite work and the flexibility to work from home.
