Job Description

Responsibilities

  • 75% Marketing Technology (Data Strategy & Platform Enablement)
  • Support marketing data strategy efforts, including documentation of data flows, governance processes, and taxonomy standards
  • Assist in optimizing and maintaining marketing platforms (e.g., marketing automation, CRM integrations, campaign tools)
  • Participate in platform evaluations and vendor market scans to inform technology selection decisions
  • Conduct research on emerging marketing technologies and best practices
  • Support campaign enablement activities such as segmentation, QA, tagging, and performance tracking
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and platform adoption initiatives
  • 25% Research & Insights (Survey Research Support)
  • Assist the Insights team in supporting enterprise survey programs across members, employer groups, brokers, and other audiences
  • Help coordinate survey deployments, audience lists, and data collection processes
  • Compile and analyze survey data using Excel or SPSS
  • Conduct primary and secondary research (i.e., surveys, environmental scans, literature reviews)

Requirements

  • Education: This position requires an individual working towards a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Communications, Statistics, Public Health, or related field. This internship is focused on a rising Junior or Senior Undergraduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Strong interest in marketing technology, analytics, or research
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Strong research and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality

Preferred

  • Coursework in marketing analytics, statistics, research methods, or information systems
  • Familiarity with survey tools or basic data visualization
  • Interest in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries
