Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This position is a sales and marketing support position and is responsible for performing duties related to customer service, sales of Lottery products, validation and payment of winning claims, preparation of promotional book inventory, and various administrative tasks.
  • Each employee is expected to be knowledgeable of the Lottery’s Responsible Gaming program, including the No Underage Play and Play Within Your Means messaging, and will ensure retailers and players are aware of the program and provided information, as necessary.
  • Greets players in a courteous and professional manner, in person and by phone.
  • Answers questions and provides information on how to play all Lottery games.
  • Assists players by responding to questions relating to prize validation and payments.
  • Serve as a customer service representative for calls made to the district office.
  • Pay/validation operator and assists players in completing claims in prizes greater than $599.00.
  • Primary or secondary ticket sales redemption.
  • Validates and processes claims and pays prizes.
  • Performs daily and weekly cash procedures including reconciliation and documentation, deposits, and adjustments.
