Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create must-have Lincoln product by being the Lincoln Product Marketing expert for your specific vehicle program milestones and volume planning.
  • Responsible for providing Voice-of-the-Customer input and achieving all Marketing deliverables for future model Lincoln programs. SME on the current and future segment and competitive set.
  • Product Marketing lead on Lincoln product related studies finding opportunities to simplify and modernize including offering strategy questions, contribution margin improvement actions, complexity reduction actions, and product reviews.
  • Define and own the Market Equation development that includes product, packaging, pricing actions, as well as program volumes and take rates to maximize customer desirability and company/dealer profitability.
  • Integration of market brand strategy into vehicle line product assumptions.
  • Work with the market research team to coordinate key market research events, including event planning, participation and report–out. Responsible for advocating key research finding into product development and design processes.
  • Ensure an outstanding hand-over of Marketing responsibilities and product knowledge as vehicles move from future to current (launch) model; Support Brand Marketing efforts, including Immersion and Event support.
  • Champion team efforts and presentation materials for Key Retailer interfaces
  • Assess commodity/feature take rates to ensure fastest selling features are in the market to guide accurate financial forecasting

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and financial skills; able to use data to tell a story and to understand customer behavior
  • Extraordinary teamwork and collaborative skills and demonstrated behaviors
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and communication skills
  • Demonstrate leadership through influencing and collaboration across the organization including Digital Product, Field Ops, Training, Finance, Pricing, Comms, PR & other internal stakeholders, as well as retailers and other external partners
  • Ability to "free-think" and be innovative regarding strategic and tactical business opportunities and issues
  • Ability to act with urgency, simplify complex issues & develop a compelling point of view
  • Ability to persuasively make a case for change that leads to action
  • Understanding of Marketing Product Development process
  • Understanding of the US Marketing & Sales Operations and US consumer/retailer wants and needs
  • Abilty to quickly master internal data sources, tools and dashboards
