Job Summary

Own lifecycle and retention for ecommerce by planning and optimizing email/SMS campaigns, audience segmentation, and automated flows to lift engagement and long-term value.

  • Lifecycle Strategy: Plan and optimize automated flows (welcome, abandonment, post-purchase) and cross-channel messaging.
  • Campaign & Testing: Build campaigns, segment audiences, run A/B tests, and report results to leadership.
  • Performance & Iteration: Analyze metrics and adjust strategies to improve retention and channel performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Marketing Manager lead for customer lifecycle and retention across email and SMS, owning campaign planning, audience segmentation, automated flows, testing strategy, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and execute email and SMS marketing campaign strategies in alignment with business goals
  • Build, manage, and optimize automated lifecycle flows (welcome series, abandonment, post purchase, etc.)
  • Segment audiences based on customer behavior, lifecycle stage, purchase history, and engagement
  • Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, content, offers, send times, etc. to enhance channel performance
  • Analyze and report on channel performance to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with broader marketing team to align on messaging across channels
  • Work in partnership with creative team to ensure design upholds brand standards

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, preferably within ecommerce
  • Strong proficiency in Klaviyo
  • Understanding of email performance metrics
  • Experience with customer segmentation
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
