Job Summary

Own and manage the Minnesota Wild’s ancillary social media presence and event engagement, driving content creation, scheduling, and daily maintenance across multiple channels while supporting community and brand activation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Attend a variety of events to support community engagement and brand activation initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Community events
  • Foundation events
  • Player hospital visits
  • Brand activation initiatives (pregame parties, etc.)
  • Home games (as needed)
  • Schedule and post content for all Minnesota Wild ancillary social media accounts to ensure timely and consistent engagement, including:
  • Wild Gives Back
  • MN Wild Pup
  • Wild on 7th (as needed)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Digital Cinematography, Creative Writing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of social media platforms (X, Facebook, and Instagram specifically required).
  • Experience capturing engaging content (camera knowledge, including iPhone videos).
  • Experience editing photo/video content (using Premier Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as needed for games and events.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Enthusiastic to learn, sleeves and contribute wherever needed with a positive attitude.
  • Strategically minded and able to take initiative with little direction.

Preferred

  • Sprout Social and/or Hootsuite preferred.
  • Experience with project management system (Wrike) preferred.
