Responsibilities

• Actively seek and establish relationships to place individuals who have skilled nursing needs.
• Generate and manage referrals from key hospitals in the area.
• Develop strong relationships with key referral sources and uncover new opportunities for growth.
• Establish and improve new and existing relationships to place individuals with skilled nursing needs.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the nearby hospital market place
• Strong medical assessment skills
• Knowledge of health insurance and coverage requirements
• Drop-in: Health care experience in either a hospital, managed care organization or post-acute care organization preferred

Preferred

• Physician sales experience preferred
• Prior experience with marketing and business development in Brooklyn hospitals preferred
• Familiarity with post-acute care is useful
• Experience organizing and executing marketing presentations
