Job Summary

Own community outreach that connects families with healthcare services, while staying compliant, professional, and directing eligible leads to the right staff.

  • Outreach ownership: Lead in-person events and distribute approved materials to raise awareness and referrals.
  • Audience engagement: Interact with families in community settings to explain services and eligibility steps.
  • Compliance and routing: Maintain records, protect privacy, and route leads to screening or enrollment with authorized staff.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Promote awareness of our services and resources within the community
  • Distribute approved educational and marketing materials
  • Attend community events, health fairs, and outreach activities
  • Provide general information regarding our services and available resources
  • Direct interested individuals to authorized staff for screening, eligibility review, and enrollment processes
  • Maintain records of outreach activities as required
  • Represent the organization professionally and ethically at all times
  • Willing to drive your own car preferred

Requirements

  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, including HIPAA and Medicaid program requirements
  • Do not offer, provide, solicit, or accept gifts, incentives, payments, or anything of value in exchange for referrals, member enrollment, or utilization of services
  • Do not guarantee eligibility, enrollment, approval, or receipt of services
  • Do not conduct screenings, assessments, eligibility determinations, care management activities, or service authorizations unless specifically trained and authorized
  • Protect confidential information and follow all privacy and security policies
  • Immediately report any compliance concerns to management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with community members in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in community settings
  • Willing to drive your own car preferred

Preferred

  • Experience in outreach, customer service, healthcare, or social services preferred
