Job Summary

Own and optimize the end-to-end student comms surface from enrollment through activation and success, turning it into a single cohesive system that drives engagement.

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle surface from enrollment through activation milestones.
  • Define and maintain the next-best-action decisioning with triggers, segmentation, routing, and escalation.
  • Measure engagement with experiments and holdouts to prove improvements and guide changes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end student comms surface from enrollment through payment, onboarding, pre-class readiness, activation, and success milestones as one coherent system.
  • Define and implement the decisioning logic behind next-best-action based on student behavior and context, including triggers, segmentation, routing, and escalation.
  • Develop and maintain the measurement system to prove engagement improvements and justify changes (metrics, experiments, holdouts, goals).
  • Establish guardrails to ensure automated and AI-assisted communications are clear, supportive, and human.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience
  • Experience owning end-to-end engagement surfaces or lifecycle/automation systems
  • Owns decisioning logic behind next-best-action
  • Ability to measure engagement and run experiments
  • Willingness to build directly in automation tools rather than only briefs
  • On-site work in New York, NY, US
  • US citizen/visa only

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with a lifecycle/automation platform (Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar)
  • AI agent or support-automation tools (e.g., Decagon)
  • SQL, APIs, webhooks, or low-code tools (Retool, Zapier, Make, n8n)
  • Experience in edtech, healthcare, marketplace, or consumer subscription domains
