Job Summary

Own donor storytelling and content operations for nonprofit fundraising, turning program impact into donor engagement across campaigns, websites, and social channels.

  • Align content across blogs, email, social, and website with a streamlined review and asset management process.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Philanthropy team to develop and implement content that supports fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, stewardship efforts, website initiatives, and social media communications.
  • Draft donor-facing communications including appeals, newsletters, direct mail pieces, stewardship communications, annual campaign materials, call scripts, and donor outreach content.
  • Create and edit content for blogs, social media platforms, email communications, digital newsletters, website content, and other communication channels.
  • Assist with the development of advertising copy and creative content for integrated fundraising and marketing campaigns.
  • Support the creation of fundraising and marketing materials that promote Agency programs and encourage philanthropic support.
  • Develop written, visual, and digital content assets based on program activities, participant stories, and Agency impact for fundraising and donor engagement purposes.
  • Gather participant stories, testimonials, program highlights, and impact narratives for use in fundraising, donor stewardship, grant support, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct interviews and gather information from participants, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners to support fundraising and communication efforts.
  • Coordinate content development with internal stakeholders and external vendors, consultants, photographers, designers, and communication partners.
  • Provide writing and editing support for speeches, press releases, interviews, event communications, media opportunities, and organizational messaging.
