Job Summary

Own NYC field activation and offline growth, driving signups through hands-on activations, events, and local partnerships while iterating quickly on what works.

  • Lead daily in-person activations targeting commuters, offices, and lunch-centric hubs.
  • Train and manage brand ambassadors, coordinate with local restaurants, and optimize location strategy for maximum reach.
  • Track performance and iterate tactics to lift new-member acquisition and awareness.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Own and meet monthly revenue and new-customer acquisition targets for NYC field marketing campaigns.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize daily in-person marketing activations targeting commuters, office workers, and local lunch customers.
  • Hire, train, manage, and work alongside brand ambassadors distributing MealPal marketing materials throughout NYC.
  • Identify high-opportunity locations, commuter patterns, office buildings, neighborhoods, and lunch hubs for activations.
  • Plan and execute “lunch and learn” events with companies and office teams across NYC.
  • Work with local restaurant partners to create and distribute marketing materials that drive awareness and signups.
  • Track campaign performance, learn what is working, and quickly adjust tactics to improve results.
  • Bring creative, practical ideas for acquiring new members offline.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 0–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, operations, customer service, hospitality, events, or a similarly customer-facing role.
  • Comfortable working in person in NYC Monday through Friday.
  • Able to start early, typically around 7:00am.
  • Hungry to work approximately 50 hours per week.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Preferred
  • A natural people-person who enjoys starting conversations and engaging with strangers.
  • Comfortable asking people about their lunch habits and explaining why MealPal is useful.
  • Competitive and goal-oriented, with the drive to hit revenue and acquisition targets.
  • Highly organized and able to manage many moving pieces at once.
  • Fast-moving, detail-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
  • Clear and thoughtful in writing, with strong judgment and high EQ.
  • Excited by a role that combines marketing, sales, operations, and on-the-ground execution.
