Job Summary

Own end-to-end email lifecycle from strategy to execution and optimization, with ownership of segmentation, automation, and ROI for ecommerce audiences.

  • Email strategy, segmentation, and automation across the funnel to maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Template design and collaboration with copy and design to ensure on-brand, responsive emails.
  • Testing and analytics to improve open rates, CTRs, and campaign ROI.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with overall digital marketing goals to maximize engagement and ROI.
  • Segment customer databases using advanced tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Pardot to deliver targeted messaging tailored to specific audience needs.
  • Design visually appealing email templates utilizing Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and best practices in email design to enhance user experience.
  • Implement marketing automation workflows that nurture leads through the sales funnel, utilizing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or HubSpot.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and layouts to continuously improve open rates and click-through rates.
  • Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, SQL queries, and other analytics tools to derive actionable insights for future initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including copywriters and designers to produce compelling content that aligns with brand voice and campaign objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with email regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act) and ensure data privacy standards are upheld across all campaigns.
  • Stay current on industry trends in digital marketing and email best practices to innovate and optimize our communication strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing successful email marketing campaigns within a digital marketing environment.
  • Strong proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or HubSpot.
  • Hands-on knowledge of customer segmentation techniques to target diverse audience groups effectively.
  • Skilled in HTML, CSS, and Adobe Photoshop for creating engaging email templates and visual content.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance personalization efforts.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms like Google Analytics and SQL for campaign performance tracking and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform A/B testing and interpret results to optimize campaign outcomes.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with an eye for compelling messaging that drives action.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles applied specifically to e-commerce environments is a plus.
