Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write email copy for campaigns based on provided strategy and briefs
  • Develop clear, structured creative briefs for designers and Klaviyo builders
  • Sug gest visual direction, product selections, and layout ideas for each campaign
  • Work within established email templates while identifying opportunities for creative improvement
  • Use AI tools and internal prompting systems to support copy development (without relying on them entirely)
  • Review campaign performance insights to inform future creative direction
  • Familiarize yourself with client brands, products, and asset libraries to make informed recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure campaigns are aligned and ready for execution
  • Occasionally participate in client meetings (not a primary client-facing role)

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years experience in email marketing, copywriting, or ecommerce marketing
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt to different brand voices
  • Experience writing for ecommerce brands (product-driven marketing required)
  • Ability to think beyond copy - considering visuals, layout, and user experience
  • Comfort using AI tools to support (not replace) your work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Curiosity and adaptability when working across a diverse range of ecommerce brands and industries (e.g., jewelry, wellness, apparel)
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and shift between them effectively
  • Familiarity with Slack, Asana, Notion and other collaboration tools

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of Klaviyo, Canva, and Figma is a plus, especially for occasional last-minute edits or content updates
  • Familiarity with ecommerce customer journeys and lifecycle marketing
  • Experience collaborating with designers and marketing teams
