Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manages email campaign production across multiple platforms, including setup, QA, and deployment. Experience utilizing a major ESP is preferred (i.e., Zeta, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Utilizes a working knowledge of HTML and CSS to conduct basic code updates, including modifications to images, logos, links, copy, tracking tags and other elements.
  • Adheres to process for execution and on-time delivery of complex, highly dynamic promotional email campaigns.
  • Participates in the QA/QC of all email campaigns (audit creative, promotional messaging, links, segment selection, set up, etc.). Partners with account managers and marketing leads to ensure all campaign details and content are accurate.
  • Supports marketing leads on email test setup, execution, monitoring and reporting of email campaign performance.
  • Understands basic segmentation principles and how segmentation relates to daily email campaigns and CRM trigger campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising/Marketing, Creative, and Partnership account managers to coordinate on campaign assets, reviews, and approvals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field
  • 1+ year(s) of hands-on email production experience in relevant industry (ecommerce, retail for example) executing marketing campaigns
  • Working knowledge of CRM and campaign management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple deadline-oriented projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with enterprise Email Service Providers (Experian, Yesmail, ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Zeta, etc.)
  • Internally motivated, able to work proficiently in an independent and collaborative capacity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Preferred

  • Experience in retail, entertainment, sports and/or travel industry
  • Proficiency in Dreamweaver/Photoshop skills
  • HTML/CSS programming experience is a plus
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other marketing automation platforms
  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM and email best practices
