Own sponsored email end to end and set branded-email standards while scaling with AI; build workflows that reduce manual work and speed production.

  • Branded Email Ownership: own end-to-end sponsored emails from research to QA and ship.
  • AI-Driven Production: design and roll out AI-assisted workflows that cut manual production time and improve consistency.
  • Performance and Coaching: pull email data to optimize copy toward benchmarks and coach the team on new AI tools and processes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • What the Role Is: Editor who owns sponsored email from start to finish and leads how our team uses AI to build and scale that work.
  • Write, edit, build in Figma, and QA branded email before it ships.
  • Set and document the standards for branded email: voice, quality, and production process.
  • Develop AI-assisted workflows that reduce manual production time across the team.
  • Coach the team on how to use AI tools you discover and develop so everyone levels up.
  • Pull and analyze email performance data; use what you learn to adjust copy and hit benchmarks. Report monthly.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and hit deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Flex into other branded content as priorities shift: articles, newsletter placements, feed copy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years writing and editing branded content, or at a digital publisher or media company.
  • Fluent in AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) for research, outlining, data collection, automations, and more to improve the team's production workflows.
  • Proficient in Figma, comfortable building and QA'ing email.
  • Data-driven, reads performance data and knows how to act on it.
  • Systems-oriented, spots bottlenecks and builds solutions.
  • Natural relationship builder, treats cross-functional partnerships as essential to getting the best work done.
  • Clear communicator, knows when to flag an issue, when to push back, and when to let it go.
  • Handles client and legal revisions efficiently and protects the user experience.

Preferred

  • Experience coaching teams on AI tools.
  • Experience using AI-driven workflows to move faster and improve output.
