Job Summary

Own the data hygiene and migration workflow for moving product content from legacy to a new CMS, organizing templates and taxonomy,QA data, and supporting SEO integrity while flagging gaps for correction.

  • Migration & Data Quality: migrate product content, validate pricing/SKUs/links, and QA page formatting.
  • Content Organization: structure assets and metadata to fit new templates and data models.
  • SEO & Taxonomy Support: update URLs, meta descriptions, alt text, and ensure taxonomy alignment for a smooth transition.

Job Description

  • Migrate product content including descriptions, specifications, and metadata from the legacy platform to the new CMS
  • Organize and structure content to align with new templates, taxonomy, and data models
  • Manage digital assets including resizing, optimizing, and uploading images, banners, and media files
  • Perform quality assurance checks to validate product data, pricing, SKUs, links, and page formatting
  • Assist in maintaining SEO integrity by updating URLs, meta descriptions, and alt text
  • Identify incomplete, inconsistent, or outdated data and flag issues for correction
  • Support data cleanup and normalization to ensure compatibility with the new system
  • Track progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders
  • Document workflows and processes to support ongoing migration efforts

  • Familiarity with Front End Development
  • Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data inconsistencies
  • Basic understanding of content management systems or ecommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow structured data models, templates, and taxonomy guidelines
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Marketing, Digital Media, Ecommerce, or a related field
  • Interest in ecommerce operations, digital content management, or web development
