Job Summary

Own end-to-end product design for patient matching experiences while shaping the design system and the design function at a health tech startup.

  • Product Design & Collaboration: Lead interaction design, prototyping, and visual design with cross-functional teams to evolve the product vision.
  • Design Systems: Contribute to Helix and scale provider experiences across the product.
  • Team & Process: Influence culture, process, and help grow a world-class startup design team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Use interaction design, prototyping, and visual design to collaborate with a cross-functional team to evolve product vision and build design solutions.
  • Contribute and evolve Headway design system (Helix) as we scale provider experiences.
  • Contribute to team culture, process, and help grow a world-class startup design team.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years experience as a Product Designer
  • Experience delivering beautiful, innovative consumer-facing experiences
  • Experience collaborating with product and engineering partners daily in Figma
  • Willingness to test concepts weekly with potential patients with a user researcher
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects
  • Motivated by Headway's mission to improve access and affordability in mental health care

Preferred

  • Mobile web experience is a bonus.
