Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary APS strategic partner to Oncology brand teams, representing APS in Integrated Brand Team forums and translating brand priorities into patient services strategy and execution.
  • Lead oncology patient support strategy across current brands, in-line optimization, and future launches, including care model design, program evolution, launch readiness, and operating model recommendations.
  • Identify patient, provider, field, access, and market insights; convert them into actionable support strategies that improve access, time to therapy, experience, and adherence.
  • Oversee the oncology patient support ecosystem, including program design, account education, field tools, measurement approach, performance reviews, and continuous improvement priorities.
  • Lead annual and long-range APS planning for the Oncology portfolio, including investment prioritization, resource allocation, budget stewardship, and strategic trade-off recommendations.
  • Develop and implement KPIs, dashboards, reporting tools, and insights to assess program effectiveness, account engagement, operational performance, and business impact.
  • Lead senior leadership presentations, strategic reviews, and decision forums with concise, data-driven recommendations, clear decisions, and accountable action plans.
  • Facilitate cross-functional governance to resolve risks, dependencies, misalignment, and competing priorities across APS, brand, commercial, access, analytics, operations, and field partners.
  • Advance opportunities to use data, technology, and AI-enabled approaches to improve patient visibility, operational efficiency, and support delivery.
  • Build trusted partnerships across the organization as an enterprise advisor on patient support strategy, oncology operating model design, and future-state planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, patient services, commercial strategy, access, marketing, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of oncology market dynamics, patient access considerations, commercialization, and patient support program design.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect brand strategy to patient services execution, measurable outcomes, and resource investment decisions.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional strategy and influencing senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Strong business acumen, financial literacy, analytical judgment, and ability to synthesize complexity into practical recommendations.
  • Executive presence with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to drive clarity, alignment, and decisions.
  • High accountability, sound judgment, agility, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
