Job Description

Responsibilities

Own the strategic relationship with a growing portfolio of clients as their primary advisor on performance, acquisition strategy, and growth planning
Lead weekly executive calls with CMOs, CEOs, and VPs of Marketing with the rigor of a top consultancy
Develop high-impact initiatives: incrementality programs, MER optimization, LTV/NCAC deep-dives, attribution overhauls, and channel mix
Build executive-grade decks, models, performance analyses, and QBRs
Architect AI systems that scale the analytical and reporting capacity of the whole media team — the infrastructure that lets BHD grow from 7 to 25–30+ clients without proportional headcount
Build and own multi-step AI workflows for high-leverage functions: automated reporting, incrementality test design/analysis, attribution modeling, cohort analysis, LTV/NCAC forecasting, budget pacing alerts, and the connective tissue between Meta/TikTok Ads Manager, Triple Whale, Northbeam, Shopify, and Elevar
Identify the 30–50% of buyer time spent on manual reporting and automate it, so buyers can manage more accounts at higher quality
Set the AI standard across the team — training buyers to higher AI fluency, building reusable libraries, and establishing governance for what gets automated vs. stays human-led
Stay "in the weeds" with AI: testing new tools as they launch and translating what you learn into team-wide capability lifts
Connect ad-level metrics to business outcomes (MER, contribution margin, incrementality-adjusted ROAS, NCAC, LTV)

Requirements

5–9 years in growth strategy, performance marketing analytics, or digital strategy (agency, DTC brand, or consulting)
Managing strategic client relationships with brands spending $200K–$3M+/month on paid social
Track record driving measurable business outcomes (revenue, contribution margin, unit economics — not campaign metrics)
Advanced Excel/Sheets: financial modeling, scenario analysis, cohort analysis, forecasting
Deep attribution/measurement expertise: MER, incrementality testing, MMM, LTV/NCAC
Presenting to C-suite and translating data into strategic recommendations
Strong DTC economics: Shopify data, contribution margin, AOV/LTV, product-level P&L
Demonstrated experience building AI-augmented workflows beyond prompting (e.g., multi-step automations in n8n/Make/Zapier, Claude Projects a team uses, or systems that automate meaningful analytical work)
Familiar with the analytics ecosystem: Meta/TikTok Ads Manager, Triple Whale, Northbeam, Shopify, Elevar/Converge

Preferred

Agency experience at a scaling performance marketing agency (10–60 person range)
Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
Experience architecting agentic AI systems (Claude Code, Cowork, MCP servers, multi-agent orchestration) you personally designed and deployed
Python/JavaScript/SQL for models, dashboards, or data pipelines
Experience mentoring analysts or media buyers on strategic thinking
