Job Summary

Own and steer Rare Beauty's global social and content engine, turning cultural moments into thumb-stopping, platform-aware storytelling while building a globally aligned team and a responsive, community-first social machine.

Job Description

  • Own and lead Rare Beauty’s global social and content strategy end-to-end, from vision through execution, ensuring every touchpoint is rooted in purpose, community, and cultural relevance.
  • Set the creative and strategic direction for social-first storytelling across platforms, spanning short-form, long-form, still imagery, and emerging formats, with a focus on digital-first content.
  • Translate brand moments, product launches, and cultural insights into compelling narratives that inspire connection, spark conversation, and build lasting community.
  • Champion a “community-first” approach—fostering meaningful, two-way engagement and ensuring Rare Beauty’s platforms remain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for self-expression.
  • Lead real-time cultural participation, identifying trends, platform innovations, and emerging behaviors, and translating them into impactful, first-to-market brand moments.
  • Partner closely with Creative to evolve and uphold Rare Beauty’s visual identity and tone of voice across all social content, ensuring consistency while continuously pushing creative boundaries.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform strategy. Translating performance into clear, actionable learnings that optimize content, drive engagement, and strengthen brand equity.
  • Own global social reporting, synthesizing performance, trends, and key learnings into clear narratives that inform future strategy and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global social and content team. Setting a clear vision, elevating creative output, and fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and excellence.
  • Partner with platforms, creators, and external agencies to unlock innovation, test new formats, and keep Rare Beauty at the forefront of social and cultural trends.
