Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Demand Generation Specialists.
  • Set weekly activity targets, conversion KPIs, pipeline goals, and individual close rates for low-value deals.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and performance assessments.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop junior team members
  • Oversee outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and marketing-generated lead conversion.
  • Own the strategy and performance for closing defined low-value, high-velocity deals (e.g., smaller transactional opportunities or lower-complexity offerings).
  • Ensure team executes consistent, high-quality follow-up via phone, email, and social channels.
  • Standardize and continuously refine outreach messaging, qualification criteria, and closing processes.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing team to align outbound efforts with ongoing campaigns.
  • Provide real-time feedback on lead quality, persona engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Coordinate follow-up processes for events, webinars, and digital campaigns.
  • Track and report on team KPIs, including funnel metrics, opportunity creation, and low-value deal closure rates.
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, particularly for multi-source attribution across marketing and outbound efforts.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable improvements.
  • Present weekly insights to both Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Work with Senior Account Executives to ensure seamless handoff of high-value opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to refine scripts, sequences, and deal closure playbooks.
  • Provide product and messaging feedback to Product Marketing.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in Demand Generation, SDR/BDR, Inside Sales, or similar pipeline roles
  • Experience working with highly technical products (e.g., cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure, developer tools, and/or embedded systems)
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior reps (formal or informal)
  • Understanding of outbound sales motions and marketing-to-sales handoff processes
  • Familiarity with closing small or transactional deals is a strong advantage
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work hybrid, onsite in Dallas three days per week

Preferred

  • Previous responsibility for closing small deals or renewals
  • Experience in B2B enterprise technology environments
  • Exposure to ABM programs or integrated campaign execution
  • Process-driven mindset with a continuous improvement focus
