Job Summary

Drive creative strategy and brief-driven UGC campaigns for a fast-growing DTC skincare brand, owning ideation-to-published workflow and weekly performance-driven iterations.

  • Own concepting, briefs, and weekly ad concept output with measurable impact.
  • Must-have: 1–3+ years in DTC/e‑commerce creative or performance marketing with a proven ad portfolio.
  • Standout: Brand-building alongside performance marketing in a high-growth environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • — UGC Ideation: Writing briefs and managing the full ideation-to-published-ad workflow. You'll decide the concepts, hooks, scripts, and visual direction for every piece of UGC content.
  • — Static Ad Briefing: Writing conversion-focused briefs for our design team, every headline, subhead, visual callout, and CTA. You'll study what's winning, reverse-engineer why, and produce new concepts weekly.
  • — Creative Strategy & Brand Direction: Trend scouting (Meta Ads Library, TikTok Creative Center, competitor libraries), building our creative calendar, and gradually shaping brand direction as you prove your instincts.
  • — Performance Analysis: Reviewing ad performance data weekly, identifying winning patterns, killing underperformers early, and iterating based on real numbers, not gut feelings.

Requirements

  • — 1–3+ years in DTC, e-commerce, or performance marketing (beauty, skincare, or CPG is a plus)
  • — You understand performance marketing: awareness levels, sophistication stages, hook-body-CTA structure
  • — You can show a portfolio of ads you briefed or created that actually ran on Meta, with performance context
  • — You think in angles, not just aesthetics — you know the difference between a pretty ad and one that converts
  • — You're fluent in the DTC creative ecosystem: Foreplay, TikTok Creative Center, Atria, Meta Ad Library
  • — You're self-directed and thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments, we don't micromanage
  • — Experience in brand-building alongside performance marketing is a strong plus. We're building the category leader, not just running ads

Preferred

  • — Experience in brand-building alongside performance marketing is a strong plus.

Benefits

    Compensation

    • Total Comp: $70–$100K+ all-in
    • Base: $55–65K (depending on experience)
    • Performance Bonuses: Quarterly, tied to creative win rate, output volume, and brand revenue milestones. Realistic upside of $15–$25K/year for strong performers.
    • You're getting early-stage equity-equivalent upside through performance bonuses without the lottery-ticket risk. This is a brand doing real revenue with real margins — your bonuses are funded by actual performance.

    How to Apply

    • Apply via LinkedIn and include the following in your application or cover letter:
    • - A link to 2–3 DTC ads you briefed or created (Meta preferred). Tell us the angle, why you chose it, and how it performed.
    • - A 2–3 sentence answer: What's the difference between a "brand" ad and a "performance" ad and why is that distinction mostly wrong?
    • No portfolio or specific answers = automatic pass. We're looking for people who take creative seriously enough to show their work.

    Other

    • This is not a "content creator" role. This is not a "social media manager" role.
    • This is a Creative Strategist position at a high-growth, performance-driven beauty brand, and you'll own the ideas, angles, and briefs that directly feed $150K+/month in Meta ad spend.
    • You'll also work with AI-powered creative workflows — not because we expect you to be technical, but because we'll teach you to work alongside tools that make you faster, sharper, and more prolific than any creative strategist at a traditional brand.
