Job Summary

Own end-to-end nonprofit comms and marketing execution that aligns program launches, fundraising campaigns, and community outreach with data-driven iteration.

  • Communications & Campaigns: craft key messages, channel tailoring, earned-media opportunities, and annual email/social calendars.
  • Content & Production: write/edit for campaigns, manage photoshoots, graphics/videos, and maintain assets and website updates.
  • Analytics & Partnerships: track performance, optimize based on insights, grow LYB’s social presence, foster media/influencer relationships, and support equity initiatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Comms & Marketing Director to craft messages, tailor content for each channel, and pursue earned-media opportunities.
  • Create and manage annual calendars for email marketing and social media.
  • Produce digital campaigns around program launches, giving days, awareness months, and other key moments.
  • Write and edit content for campaigns, social, website, and press materials.
  • Manage photoshoots from mood boards and shot lists through post‑production.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance to inform data‑driven decisions.
  • Create graphics, videos, and photo content for social, web, email, and ads.
  • Maintain and organize media assets and update the LoveYourBrain website with collaborative design work.
  • Manage email marketing via Campaign Monitor, including segmentation, subscriber journeys/automations, and list hygiene.
  • Grow LYB presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms while monitoring trends.

Requirements

  • At least 4-6 years of experience in managing digital communications and marketing for nonprofit programs, preferably involving mindfulness, yoga, or brain health.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Canva, Squarespace, Campaign Monitor, Meta Business Suite.
  • Strong experience managing social media accounts with 35k+ IG followers and 81k+ Facebook followers.
  • Ability to independently produce creative content (text, image, and video).
  • Basic design, video editing, and photography skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO best practices, and email marketing metrics.
  • Familiarity using AI to refine marketing content and analyze data for messaging and campaign performance.
  • Excellent written communication skills for diverse audiences (e.g., people with TBI, healthcare professionals, media, general public).
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Zoom.
  • Highly developed organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • Travel in the US and Canada up to 2–4 months per year; must have a valid license and passport.
  • Ability to move equipment during photoshoots and work remotely; comfortable with long computer days and frequent video calls.

Preferred

  • A depth of understanding and/or teaching experience in trauma-informed settings with a yoga and/or mindfulness focus.
