Job Summary

Own and coordinate external communications and programs to inform, engage, and fundraise while guiding staff and vendors to deliver messaging strategies and public presence.

Translate market research into decision-ready campaigns, events, and information programs that reach diverse stakeholders.
Lead the development and execution of communications strategy, content, and educational/publicity materials, including press releases, newsletters, and brochures.
Build and manage teams, budgets, and vendor contracts to deliver high-impact programs and public events.

Responsibilities

Analyze market research data to improve business decisions or activities
Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
Develop communication strategies
Direct the production of educational and publicity programs and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter
Evaluate communication strategies and programs
Implement communication strategies and programs
Oversee the preparation of written material for website content
Publicize activities, workshops, meetings and other events for fundraising or information purposes
Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations and press releases
Supervise staff
