Job Summary
Support the Communications team as a summer intern handling media outreach, clipping, and day-to-day operations.
- Assist with media lists, press tracking, and drafting content
- Must-have: strong writing and organizational skills
- Hybrid schedule in DC or NYC with a chance to work on gun-violence prevention messaging

Responsibilities
- Assist the team in developing media lists and identifying new reporters from traditional and non-traditional media
- Track incoming press requests and send daily clips
- Support the team with drafting content and identifying new and emerging trends
- Assist the team in its day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Organizational and strong writing skills required
- Currently enrolled college students are encouraged to apply; relevant experience in the field is also welcome
- Willingness to work with a growing team in a fast-paced, campaign-like environment
- An interest in project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent writing abilities
- An interest in gun violence prevention
- Bilingual candidates, especially candidates with both verbal and written fluency in Spanish, will be strongly considered
