Job Summary

Lead client strategy and campaign management for a performance-driven SEO agency, guiding onboarding, roadmap updates, and data-driven pivots.

  • Own onboarding and strategy development to set client direction in each engagement.
  • Translate performance data into strategic pivots and client-ready insights.
  • Leverage tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Teamwork to manage work.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of each client's industry, audience, brand voice, and competitive advantages — using those insights to lead a comprehensive onboarding and strategy development process in the first month of each engagement.
  • Maintain and revise the Strategy Roadmap throughout the campaign, making data-driven adjustments as needed to hit client goals.
  • Review campaign performance monthly and quarterly; create analysis reports and present findings internally and to clients with clear strategic pivots.
  • Build trusting, long-term client relationships through consistent calls, email communication, and proactive strategy updates.
  • Drive upsells and renewals by identifying and presenting strategic opportunities to clients and teammates.
  • Manage client accounts and ongoing tasks within internal management platforms, keeping all projects organized, updated, and on schedule.
  • Work closely with the writing team to identify high-impact content opportunities; collaborate to ensure all content is high-quality and on-brand.
  • Analyze campaign data and performance metrics on an ongoing basis, translating numbers into actionable insights and clear client-facing takeaways.
  • Maintain high competency in all internal platforms including Teamwork, Google Drive, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and other Google Suite products.

Requirements

  • - 2–5 years of experience in campaign management, project or product management, SEO, or client-facing strategy roles.
  • - Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and on-page SEO fundamentals.
  • - Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.).
  • - Comfortable analyzing performance data and translating findings into strategic recommendations.
  • - Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
  • - Strong organizational skills — able to manage project systems, call notes, calendars, and document workflows efficiently.
  • - Confident communicator, both written and verbal; comfortable owning client relationships and leading calls.
  • - Strategic thinker who connects marketing decisions to real business outcomes.

Preferred

  • - Prior agency experience.
  • - Experience with multiple marketing channels (e.g., PPC, email marketing).
