Job Summary

Own advocacy copy that moves parents to action on kids online safety, turning policy into accessible, emotionally resonant messaging and fast iteration with the team.

  • Advocacy Content Ownership: Draft emails, action alerts, and calls to mobilize parents, families, and advocates around legislation.
  • Audience-focused Policy Translation: Turn complex issues into clear, resonant copy for parents and educators.
  • Cross-team Collaboration: Align with advocacy, communications, and marketing to stay accurate, timely, and on-brand while quickly incorporating feedback.

Job Description

  • Draft advocacy emails, action alerts, and call-to-action messages to mobilize parents, families, and other advocates around key kids' online safety legislation and issues
  • Translate complex policy issues into clear and emotionally resonant content for our parent and educator audience
  • Work closely with the advocacy, communications and marketing teams to understand legislative priorities, and ensure messaging is accurate, timely, and on-brand
  • Incorporate feedback from the team to refine and improve drafts quickly
