Social Media Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies across various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content including posts, images, videos, and stories that align with brand voice and campaign goals
• Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly and professionally
• Support the planning and execution of public relations initiatives to boost brand awareness and community outreach
• Track and analyze social media performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm innovative ideas for campaigns and content themes
• Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media management

Requirements

• Strong interest in social media management and digital marketing strategies
• Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
• Basic understanding of public relations principles and how they integrate with social media efforts
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas for content creation
• Proficiency in using social media platforms and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer is a plus
