Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the social and influencer strategy for a portfolio of clients, ensuring both disciplines work together and ladder up to wider brand and business goals.
  • Sit on a client leadership team, working alongside an Account Director, Associate Creative Director and Paid Media Director to shape long-term strategies, identify opportunities and build strong client relationships.
  • Own influencer strategy across your clients, from defining the role of creators and identifying the right talent through to campaign planning, activation and evaluation.
  • Lead the development of influencer campaigns, shaping creative approaches, creator briefs, deliverables and content strategies that are built for the platforms they live on.
  • Bring strong knowledge of the creator landscape, using your understanding of talent, communities, cultural relevance and emerging creators to make confident recommendations to clients.
  • Oversee creator selection and vetting, ensuring talent is strategically right for the brand, audience and campaign objective rather than simply selected on reach.
  • Work closely with the wider Influencer team to manage campaigns effectively, including creator outreach, negotiations, contracting, briefing, approvals, content delivery and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with creators, talent managers and agencies, helping us develop a network of talent that can support both client work and new business.
  • Identify opportunities to extend the value of influencer content through organic social, paid amplification, whitelisting, partnerships and longer-term ambassador relationships.
  • Lead the social strategy and day-to-day execution for your clients, ensuring channel plans, content and community activity have a clear purpose and measurable impact.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in social and influencer strategy or management, ideally within an agency.
  • Deep understanding of organic social, influencer marketing, paid media and creative, and how they work together to deliver results.
  • Analytically minded and comfortable working with data and dashboards to draw clear insights and actions that will improve performance and impact.
  • Highly in tune with culture, trends and platform behaviour, with a strong instinct for what makes brands relevant.
  • Confident in leading strategic conversations with senior clients and presenting at a high level.
  • A strong leader who can balance long-term planning with real-time responsiveness.
  • Commercially aware, culturally curious and motivated by great work that drives measurable results.
  • Collaborative, positive and confident working in fast-moving, cross-functional teams.
