Job Summary

Own the apprenticeship path and marketing communications workstream with a focus on learning delivery, team collaboration, and risk awareness within a community foundation audience.

  • Learning & Capability: Own the Level 3 Multi-channel Marketing apprenticeship and development plan with coaching from the line manager and assessor.
  • Communications & Campaigns: Write clear copy and support season-wide marketing campaigns for the foundation’s community programs.
  • Compliance & Values: Model foundation values, follow policies, and escalate risks to protect program integrity.

Job Description

  • To undertake a learning and development programme leading to a Level 3 qualification in Multi-channel Marketing as part of an apprenticeship.
  • To proactively participate in their own development plan as agreed with the line manager and assessor.
  • Assist with the day-to-day requirements of the community marketing and communication of the LFC Foundation.
  • Provide clear and concise copy to support in continuous marketing and communication campaigns throughout the season.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings.
  • Acting as a role model for LFC Foundation values and professional standards.
  • Supporting your department manager with the delivery of the business and corporate plans for your area.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement in your own area of responsibility.
  • Supporting your manager with risk assessments management by reporting/escalating any identified risks or issues, as appropriate.
  • Being fully aware of and actively complying with LFC Foundation’s policies and procedures relevant to your own responsibilities and to corporate policies.
  • Experience of using MS Office applications effectively (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Able to organise and prioritise multiple work demands sensibly and logically, and work flexibly to meet the needs of the team and the organisation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to communicate information clearly and concisely with others.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE passes to include GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of using a range of communication methods
  • Experience of working in a team and independently to deliver against strict timescales.
  • Able to work under their own initiative, understanding when to ask questions/seek clarification
  • Ability to apply themselves to problem solving activities, escalating or seeking guidance where appropriate.
  • Able to analyse and compile data and information in a clear format accurately and with attention to detail.
  • An understanding of the basic principles of marketing and / or communications.
