Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of high-quality briefing and press materials to support the Labour Party’s communications and press activity, with a focus on coordinating collaboration between the Labour HQ press team and the nations and regions.
  • Ensure Labour representatives and spokespeople are equipped with clear, accurate and consistent messaging for media appearances, press engagement and public commentary.
  • Ensure nations and regions press teams have consistent and high-quality press materials to promote the work of the Labour Party and the Labour Government across the country.

Requirements

  • A strong knowledge and understanding of the Labour Party and its values
  • Experience producing briefings, communications materials or media lines in a press, political or communications environment
  • Experience briefing politicians ahead of media appearances
  • Ability to work collaboratively across communications, press and digital teams
