Digital Marketing Specialist | Google Ads, SEO & Website Management

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns for our plumbing and heating services.
• Manage advertising budgets, keywords, bidding, ad copy and targeting to generate relevant local enquiries.
• Track phone calls, website enquiries and bookings to identify which campaigns deliver results.
• Improve our Google rankings through SEO, including service pages, location pages and technical improvements.
• Manage our Google Business Profile and improve local search visibility.
• Update and maintain our website, including content, images, enquiry forms and landing pages.
• Improve the website experience to convert more visitors into customers.
• Report clearly on advertising spend, lead quality, cost per enquiry and bookings.
• Recommend additional advertising opportunities that can deliver value.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns with measurable results.
• Strong practical knowledge of SEO and local lead generation.
• Confidence managing websites using WordPress or similar platforms.
• Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
• Ability to set up and check conversion tracking for calls and online enquiries.
• Strong writing skills for adverts and website content.
• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work independently.
• Clear communication and accountability for results.

Preferred

• Experience marketing plumbing, heating, trades or other local service businesses would be an advantage.
