Business Development & Marketing Assistant – PART TIME

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the management team to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for growth
• Researching potential customers, markets, sectors and commercial opportunities
• Using AI and digital tools to help improve business processes, marketing, research and overall efficiency
• Supporting the development and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns
• Creating professional social media content, company updates and other promotional material
• Helping to improve how the business presents and communicates its services to existing and prospective customers
• Preparing professional presentations, proposals, reports and business development documents
• Supporting customer and prospect follow-ups and maintaining accurate business development records
• Producing and maintaining spreadsheets, trackers, reports and other management information
• Assisting the management team with research, data analysis and identifying more efficient ways of working

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge and practical experience of AI tools
• Strong marketing and promotional skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Advanced IT skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Confidence using social media and digital marketing platforms
• The ability to work independently and use their own initiative
• A proactive and commercially minded approach

Preferred

• Previous experience within business development, marketing or a similar commercial role would be advantageous.
