Job Description

Responsibilities

Own and drive revenue growth for AITHORS by identifying, pursuing, and closing partnerships with frontier AI labs, AI-native companies, and enterprise buyers of AI training data services
Lead full-cycle sales of data annotation, data labeling, RLHF, and model fine-tuning engagements — from first contact through contract execution
Build and manage a pipeline of high-value accounts within the frontier AI ecosystem, with a focus on OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google DeepMind, Meta AI, and emerging labs
Design and execute AITHORS' community growth strategy — expanding membership across practitioner, enterprise, and lab segments while maintaining the community's invite-only quality bar
Partner with Vikara AI's leadership to develop joint GTM motions
Represent AITHORS at key industry events, conferences, and community convenings — building visibility and trust within the AI practitioner ecosystem
Develop commercial frameworks for AITHORS sponsorships, enterprise memberships, and partner programs
Feed market intelligence from the community back into product and community roadmap decisions

Requirements

Frontier Lab Network: Direct, hands-on experience partnering with or selling into at least one of the following: OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google DeepMind, Meta AI, Mistral, Cohere, or equivalent frontier labs
Closed Deals in AI Training Data: Proven track record closing deals for one or more of: data annotation, data labeling, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), and model fine-tuning services — specifically sold to AI labs or AI-native companies
Lab Buying Motion Fluency: Deep understanding of how frontier labs buy — including internal stakeholders (research, alignment, applied AI, procurement), deal structures, and evaluation criteria
GTM Track Record: 5+ years in GTM, business development, or sales roles — ideally within AI/ML infrastructure, data services, or AI platform companies
Network Depth: Existing relationships within the frontier AI lab ecosystem that can be activated on Day 1
Presence & Communication: Strong communication and executive presence — able to engage credibly with researchers, executives, and operators alike
Location: Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate

Preferred

Prior experience building or scaling a professional community, membership network, or industry association
