Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead the development of integrated, multi-channel media strategies across linear, programmatic, search, paid social, CTV/OTT, digital video, and emerging channels under the support of the Associate Director/Director
Identify optimal media channels and platforms for campaign delivery, including digital, social, traditional, and emerging media opportunities.
Translate business objectives into clear media frameworks, channel roles, and test-and-learn roadmaps with feedback from team leadership
Pressure-test plans for efficiency, scale, and diminishing returns, making informed recommendations on budget allocation and optimization.
Maintain an overarching knowledge of market landscape and be able to put forwards updates and tailor recommendations to the clients
Directly manage and mentor a team of strategists through strategy, execution, and planning.
Take the lead on cross communication with channel teams, working with them to provide direction and hold deadlines while compiling outputs in a client friendly manner
Serve as a primary strategic contact, demonstrating high comfort and confidence when speaking directly to clients and leading cross-channel media discussions.
Ability to navigate client discussions and, actively guide discussions around owned projects and facilitate high-level strategic conversations.
Process client feedback thoughtfully in real-time, effectively translating notes and critiques into actionable follow-ups and refined media plans.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
4-6+ years of experience in media planning, buying, or related roles within an advertising agency, media agency, or brand marketing environment.
Management experience required
Strong understanding of media planning principles, methodologies, and industry trends across digital, traditional, and emerging media channels.
Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools, such as Nielsen, comScore, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, MediaRadar etc.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize media plans and campaign performance.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts and strategies to clients and internal teams.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for innovation and continuous learning in the media landscape.
