Job Summary

Support hands-on video production and program delivery in the MVP Multimedia and Video Production Program, handling setup, shooting on DPS/EGTC campuses, and helping with editing, inventory, and outreach.

  • Assist in operating and maintaining video production gear and editing labs.
  • Capture campus video for the MVP library and create tutorials or short documentaries.
  • Must-have: Currently enrolled student at EGTC with Work Study eligibility.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of video production equipment, studio spaces, and editing labs
  • Capture video on the Denver Public School (DPS) and Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) campuses for purposes of creating a Work-Based Learning library for the (Multimedia and Video Production Program) MVP program including video media to later edit into tutorials and short documentary content
  • Potential editing assignments using media captured on the Denver Public School (DPS) and Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) campuses
  • Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of equipment
  • Participate in program marketing efforts, including creating promotional videos, social media content, and other outreach materials
  • Uphold and model classroom discipline and school policies to create a supportive and effective learning environment
  • Assist in Work Based Learning (WBL) initiatives developing Multimedia solutions for other Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) programs
  • Other duties as assigned related to program support, curriculum development, and student success initiatives

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED minimum required.
  • Currently enrolled as a student at Emily Griffith Technical College with eligibility for Work Study employment.
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
