Responsibilities

• Manage SEO content production across approximately 20 client accounts
• Help produce roughly 60 new pages per month, including blog articles, service pages, location pages, and other website content
• Use AI tools and MCP connectors to assist with research, outlining, drafting, and content development
• Review and edit AI-assisted content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, tone, structure, and overall writing quality
• Ensure content aligns with each client’s brand voice, services, audience, and messaging
• Identify generic, repetitive, awkward, or inaccurate AI-generated writing and revise it into natural, client-specific content
• Research client industries, services, competitors, and subject matter to support accurate content creation
• Follow content briefs, keyword targets, brand guidelines, and SEO recommendations
• Adapt your writing and editing style across a wide variety of industries and client voices
• Work directly with the SEO Director to understand how content supports rankings, traffic, leads, and broader SEO strategies

Requirements

• A background in writing, journalism, communications, marketing, English, or a related field
• Previous experience creating or optimizing content for organic search
• Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills
• A working understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword targeting, search intent, internal linking, title tags, headings, and on-page optimization
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
• The ability to identify awkward phrasing, repetition, weak transitions, factual issues, and inconsistencies in tone or brand voice
• Strong research skills and the ability to become familiar with unfamiliar industries and topics
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Cowork, ChatGPT Work, or similar platforms
• Experience using AI for more than one-off prompts, including building repeatable workflows, refining instructions, organizing research, and improving the efficiency of content production
• The ability to critically review, fact-check, and improve AI-generated content rather than treating AI output as a finished product

Preferred

• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Google Search Console
• Experience writing for the healthcare and medical industry
• Experience working in WordPress or another CMS
• Previous agency experience or experience managing content across multiple brands
• Previous link building, outreach, or digital PR experience
• Experience developing automated or AI-assisted content workflows
