Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute (in partnership with sales and marketing) a health plan market strategy that supports long-term growth
  • Own health plan market positioning strategy, defining how our broad portfolio of solutions is differentiated and perceived across the healthcare ecosystem
  • Collaborate with commercial team leaders to define and evolve the value proposition for health plans, including persona-based messaging and storytelling tailored to executive stakeholders such as CFOs, Heads of Product, Clinical leaders, and Innovation leaders. Map and refine the health plan buying journey to ensure messaging, positioning, content, and market engagement strategies align to the priorities and decision-making processes of key buyer personas throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead the development of strategic messaging, narratives, and storytelling frameworks that clearly communicate the value of our solutions within the health plan market.
  • Recommend and execute (in partnership with the communications and events team) conference, event, and thought leadership strategies to increase visibility and credibility within the health plan ecosystem, including determining where the organization should participate, sponsor, speak, and build strategic relationships.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Strategy leadership to ensure market positioning and thought leadership reflect the evolving Quantum Health business strategy and the realities of the health plan landscape.
  • Define and evolve the health plan branding strategy, including recommendations for how and when the Quantum Health, Embold Health and CirrusMD brand should be leveraged within the health plan market.
  • Translate market positioning into clear strategic direction for Marketing, Communications, and Design execution teams — partnering closely on opportunities and serving as the strategic bridge between business objectives and creative execution.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for the health plan market opportunity within Quantum Health — collaborating on opportunities to advance and amplify the broader Quantum Health portfolio and helping executive leadership understand the long-term value of sustained brand investment in a health plan context.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proven success supporting or driving complex, enterprise-level, relationship-based sales processes with large health plans
  • Strong understanding of health plan buying dynamics, payer organizational structures, executive stakeholder management, and enterprise healthcare relationship development
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for healthcare products or solutions sold into the payer market
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, shape executive-level strategy, and drive alignment across marketing, sales, product, and business leadership teams without direct authority
  • Experience from a payer organization, healthcare consulting firm, navigation/vendor company, digital health company selling to the payer market, or leadership roles within healthcare technology
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate complex ideas across multiple personas and stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating across product, sales, strategy, and marketing teams in fast-paced growth environments
