Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative social media strategies aligned with organizational goals to increase visibility and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Create high-quality content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to craft visually appealing stories that resonate with diverse audiences
  • Manage daily social media activities using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer to ensure consistent posting schedules and timely responses to audience interactions
  • Conduct social listening to monitor online conversations about the organization or relevant topics, gather insights, and identify opportunities for engagement or reputation management
  • Utilize SEO techniques and keyword research to optimize content for search engines and improve organic reach
  • Analyze web analytics and social media metrics via Google Analytics and platform-specific insights to assess campaign performance and inform future strategies
  • Collaborate with team members on branding initiatives, public relations efforts, and e-commerce campaigns to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels
  • Support relationship management by engaging with followers, influencers, partners, and stakeholders to foster a vibrant online community

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles; previous volunteer or internship experience is a plus
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite for content creation
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer for scheduling and analytics tracking
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, web analytics (Google Analytics), and social listening techniques
  • Ability to produce engaging multimedia content including photography and video editing using tools like Adobe Premiere or other video editing software
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail for accurate public-facing content
  • Understanding of branding principles, public relations strategies, and digital marketing trends including Facebook Advertising campaigns
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
