Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic social media strategies aligned with our mission and audience needs.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content consistently across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Create high quality, engaging, and culturally sensitive content that reflects our brand voice and values.
  • Actively engage with our online community by monitoring engagement, responding to comments, messages, and enquiries promptly and thoughtfully.
  • Lead daily social media interaction, encouraging conversations, building relationships, and strengthening our online presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support campaign development, content calendars, and storytelling initiatives.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance, using insights to refine and adapt strategies.
  • Stay informed on emerging digital trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep our digital presence fresh and effective.

Requirements

  • Experience managing and growing social media platforms for a brand or organisation.
  • Demonstrated success delivering social media campaigns, managing content schedules, and building digital communities.
  • Essential: Experience creating a range of content types including written posts, videos, graphics, and infographics.
  • Desirable: Experience with graphic design, photo editing, and scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later).
  • Audience-centric approach: Ability to understand and speak to diverse audiences with empathy and authenticity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for crafting compelling and timely responses.
  • Creative and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop original ideas and translate them into impactful digital content.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure success and make data-driven improvements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, Canva, Photoshop, Zoom, and social media management tools.
  • Highly collaborative, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
