Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Technical Maintenance: Perform routine website maintenance, troubleshoot bugs, and ensure mobile responsiveness and accessibility compliance.
  • SEO & Analytics: Conduct in-depth keyword research and apply SEO strategies to improve search rankings. Monitor traffic and performance metrics (Google Analytics) to optimize user experience.
  • Donation Pages: Manage and optimize online donation forms and fundraising landing pages.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling written and visual content, including articles, blog posts, newsletters, and stories that highlight the organization's impact.
  • Multimedia Production: Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content for social media, website, and marketing campaigns (e.g., Reels, TikToks, YouTube, interviews).
  • Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and social media assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and voice across all digital channels.
  • Platform Management: Plan, schedule, and publish content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Community Management: Moderate user-generated content, respond to comments/messages, and foster positive online interactions.
  • Campaign Strategy: Develop, execute, and analyze digital campaigns for fundraising, events, and awareness, including email marketing and paid ads (e.g., Google Ad Grants).

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or website management, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Proficiency in CMS platforms (WordPress).
  • Strong skills in video editing (Premiere, Final Cut, or mobile tools like CapCut).
  • Graphic design proficiency (Canva, Photoshop).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and SEO best practices.
  • Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Mindset: Highly organized, creative, and passionate about the organization’s mission.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
